Mr. Payne was such a great man and wonderful Sunday School teacher for the Homebuilders. I could always depend on his support and wisdom when I was his pastor. I will never forget the wonderful expression of support from his Sunday School Class - in large part because of his leadership. He was so gracious to write back to me after I wrote him a letter following his beloved wife's death. His faithfulness will surely be missed. I was honored to have been his pastor for 5 years.
