Dear Family,
I was very sorry to hear of Mike's death. We lived near one another in Colorado City until his family moved to Lawton, OK. We were best of friends, and it was only in searching the internet for him that I stumbled across news of his death.

We are keeping your whole family in our thoughts and our prayers. Mike was such a special guy. I am thankful that I had a chance to get to know him. It was special to see Meredith and Mike talking in the office. I will always remember the laughs and fun we had. He will be missed.

We are so sorry for your (our) loss. We loved the times we got to spend with him at the beach. He was the master of recording crab scatter events, including the time the crab was headed up his pants leg! We will remember him best for his sense of humor and his love for Debbie and Josh. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
