After 78 years of a life well lived Mary Gay Lambert passed away peacefully on April 23, 2017 in Oklahoma City. She was born in Washington, D.C. to William Douglas Treakle, Sr. and Shirley Lee (Jones) Treakle. Mary working for the Housing and Urban Development for many years. She had a great love for her 3 cats. She is survived by her son, Tom Lambert of St. Augustine, FL; daughter, Amy Lambert of San Jose, CA; her best friend Susan Engel; and numerous other family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. James the Greater Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia with her father.
