Elwanda Hibdon

Elwanda Hibdon, 94, of Moore Oklahoma passed away on April 22, 2024 with her family by her side.

Elwanda was born on April 19, 1930 in Wapanucka Oklahoma to Edward and Maude Brown.

 Elwanda married Oscar Hibdon in 1948 and they had 3 children, Lynn, Sharon and Gary.

Elwanda lived a happy and fruitful life. She enjoyed bowling with her friends, shopping, eating Mexican food and most loved watching and cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder.  She loved listening to old country music and watching RFD, she knew all the old westerns and had seen the episodes more than once.
She most enjoyed spending time with her family.  She truly adored them and loved supporting them in all their interests and hobbies.  

Elwanda is preceded in death by her husband Oscar, son Lynn Hibdon, her son in law Bill Blansett, daughter in law Leh Hibdon, and granddaughter Angel Dawn Hibdon.
Elwanda is survived by her daughter Sharon Blansett, son Gary Hibdon, grandson Ryan Blansett, granddaughters Lyndsey Gibson (husband Joey) Sara Hibdon, great grandchildren Ayden Mason, Cooper Gibson, Tyler Gibson and Zachary Gibson, and sister Betty Jo McMahan.

Services will be Friday, April 26th at 10am and Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
