Tribute
Deborah Ann Rolland went to be with her heavenly father on April 13, 2024. Her funeral Services will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Noble Assembly of God. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Greg Rolland Memorial Scholarship Fund, care of the Moore Quarterback Club at PO Box 6701 Moore, OK 73153.
Deborah was born December 13, 1952, in Munich, Germany to Lt. Col. Henry James “Syd” Sydloski and Betty Lou (Prince) Sydloski. She graduated from Southeast high school in Oklahoma City in 1971. Deborah married the love of her life Gregory Brian Rolland on April 27, 1973. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Justin and Jarod, and a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren. Many other children affectionately referred to her as their “second mom” or grandma.
Deborah actively participated in the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at various Moore schools, including Winding Creek Elementary, Highland East Junior High, and Moore High School. For years, she attended St. Andrews Catholic Church in Moore, where she was an active member of the Women’s Group. Recently, she attended the Noble Assembly of God with amazing family and friends.
Debbi’s talents extended beyond her warm heart. She was an excellent cook and an avid baker who knew everyone’s favorite dessert. Her skills in crochet and cross-stitch resulted in numerous baby blankets and thoughtful gifts for loved ones. Additionally, she worked as a bookkeeper at Nancy J Pelley, CPA in Moore and contributed her creativity as a part-time florist at Sunshine and Roses, crafting beautiful prom corsages, homecoming mums, and wedding flowers.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Greg, father-in-law Jack Rolland, mother-in-law Loveanna Rolland, sister-in-law Kathy Pritchard, and brother-in-law Kevin Milton.
She is survived by her brother Dennis Sydloski and wife Jenny of Hickory Creek, TX, sister Diana Adamo and husband Rick of OKC, sister Danielle Milton of Ocala, FL, sister-in-law Barbara Boydstun and husband Bob of OKC, and brother-in-law Jim Pritchard of OKC, son Justin Rolland and wife Shelly of Moore, OK, son Jarod Rolland and wife Kamee of The Woodlands, TX, grandchildren Allison Rolland, Paxton Rolland, Jayce Rolland, and Brinley Rolland, and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
