Woody L. Frazee

May 16, 1975 ~ November 24, 2017 (age 42) 42 Years Old
A life that was lived full of family, sports and reading was brought to a close on November 24, 2017 after 42 years. Woody L. Frazee was born on May 16, 1975 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma the son of Danny and Judy Adcock Frazee. Woody graduated from Oklahoma Christian School where he was on the 1994 State Championship golf team. He loved golf so much that he wanted to go to the course rather than walking across the stage for his high school graduation. After graduation Woody developed a love for history; it was not uncommon to find him reading an i-book about history especially those about World War II. Woody also had a deep passion for sports, he loved coaching his son’s football team, baseball team and cheering on Laynie at her softball games. When he wasn’t coaching you could find him hunting, fishing or watching OU football. However most of all Woody loved the Lord, his family and being at home with them. Woody was a manager with Brown Machinery in Norman where he had been employed for 12 years. Left to cherish Woody’s memory are his wife of 14 years Lori (Putnam) Frazee, his two children; Deacon and Delaynie, his parents; Dr. Danny and Judy Frazee, his parents in law; Bill and Teri Putnam, his sister Rachel and her husband Eric Owens, two nephews; Hagen and Hudson Owens, his grandparents in law Beryl and Eileen Putnam as well as other family and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and aunts. At 11:00 AM on Tuesday family and friends will gather at Wilmont Place Baptist Church to celebrate Woody’s life and the memories that each of you hold. The family will be available to visit with friends on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home.
