Jan Wood

Winfred Janice Wood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Passed away on January 7, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years.

Jan Wood was born on June 29, 1933, in Medford, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Floyd and Wilma Mae (shepherd) Stovall. She grew up in Jefferson, Oklahoma, she attended Jefferson Public Schools graduating from Jefferson High School in 1951. Following her education she moved to the Oklahoma City metro area where she raised and nourished a loving family. Jan enjoyed gardening, walking, reading, traveling to various parts of the world and she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Richard Wood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four, sons, Craig Allen and wife Suzy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, James Dale of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, David Lee of Houston, Texas, and Bryan and wife Vickie; one daughter, Candice and husband Dan; one brother, Floyd Wayne and wife Maxine of St. Louis, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; eight and one half great grandchildren.
