Willmie Veitch

Willmie passed away peacefully in her sleep just after midnight on New Year’s Day 2019 with family by her side. She was ready to be with the Lord and her husband Eldon, to whom she was married for 56 years until his passing in 2009. First and foremost a devoted mother of six, Willmie passionately lived her Catholic faith by serving communion to the sick and home-bound at her parishes of St. Andrew’s and St. Patrick’s. Willmie retired from Kerr McGee in 1988. Willmie is survived by daughter Jean McCarty and husband Mark; sons Greg and wife Denise, Tim and wife Linda, Tony, Tom and wife Kelly, Steve and wife Mia; sister Jean Scholtes; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at: 10 A.M., Saturday, January 5th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, NW 19th and Portland
