William “Bill” Ray Ealey passed away on December 24, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with a rare form of Leukemia. He was born on January 1, 1958 in Springfield, IL to Kenneth and Jeannine Ealey. Bill graduated from Moore High School in 1976 and married the love of his life Joni Senters on April 25, 1975. Bill and Joni made their home in Moore, OK for most of their lives. They were childhood friends, began dating in junior high school, and have been inseparable ever since. Bill worked 15 years for Skaggs/Albertsons grocery stores in Oklahoma City and Little Rock, AR before continuing his career in management with various companies.

Bill’s passion was his family, and he cherished spending time with them. He never missed a sporting event, school activity, performance, or special occasion. His selflessness, dedication, humor, and wit made an indelible mark on everyone that crossed his path. His unconditional love was on display through numerous acts of kindness both big and small. Whether you knew him as Bill, Billy, Dad, Uncle Bill, or especially PaPa, your life was better because he was in it. Bill enjoyed OU football, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and police & crime shows. He also enjoyed traveling with Joni, fishing, cruising in his truck and an occasional trip to the Casino especially with his Mom, whom he adored.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Kenneth in 1984. He is survived by his mother Jeannine Ealey, his wife Joni of 44 years, son Chad Ealey and wife Katie of Yukon, and daughter Misty Mirkes and husband Justin also of Yukon. His proudest moments were being “PaPa” to his 5 grandchildren, Andrew & Nathan Ealey and Mackenzie, Jacob, & Paityn Mirkes. He is also survived by his siblings Kenneth, Jr., David, Jeanette, and Cindy along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who all adored their Uncle Bill.

Services will be held Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 SW 104th Oklahoma City, OK with interment following at Resthaven Memory Gardens. A viewing will be held beginning at 1:00 pm prior to the services. Flowers may be sent directly to Resthaven in his honor. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
