Wanda M King

Wanda Marie King, 95, passed away January 11, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. Wanda was born October 25, 1924 in Peoria, OK to William and Nora (Smith) Baker. She worked and retired from S&H Green Stamps and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of Brookwood Baptist Church where she enjoyed her much loved Sunday school friends and pastor. Wanda enjoyed many activities such as golf, sewing, and traveling. She was married to her true love, Jack Edward King, for 70 years prior to his death in 2013.

Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Mae Moydell; her three brothers, Jim Baker, William Baker, and Don Baker; her half-sister, Colleen Smith; and her beloved daughter-in-law, Carolyn King. She is survived by her loving children David King and Marilyn King. She adored her three grandchildren, Mike King and his wife Heather, Jeff King and his wife Sarah, and Monica Aiello and her husband Tyler. Wanda participated in their activities as they were growing up. Wanda is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Connor King, Gabriel King, Seth King, Cole King, Cameron King, Anise Aiello, and Quinn King. Wanda was also very close to her sister-in-law Jimmie King and her many nieces and nephews. Wanda was a loyal friend to all. She will rest beside her beloved husband at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
