Wanda Jenkins

Wanda Louise Jenkins entered her Heavenly home on March 22, 2021. She was born August 19, 1929 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Elmore Carl Moore and Grace Virginia Burrows (Holliday).
Wanda attended high school at Empire High School and married Glen Dale Towell in November of 1945. She spent the next several years raising her family. She later married John Jenkins in November of 1974. They were married for 25 years prior to his passing in 2003.
Wanda enjoyed sewing, cooking, and playing Bunco. Above all, she adored her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed being on the water and especially loved time with her family at Lake Texoma.
She was preceded in passing by her biological father, Elmore Moore, father, Richard Burrows, and mother, Grace Burrows; husband, John Jenkins; brother, Joe Moore; grandson, Travis Dunnam; and granddaughter, Fallon Yearley.
Those left to continue her legacy include her children, Atonie Dunnam and husband Marshall, and their son, Travis (deceased), Virginia Taylor and husband Steve, and their daughters, Steva and Anjanette, Richard Towell and wife Barbara, and their children Christa, Carey, Richi, Cannon, Christopher, and James, Kenny Towell and wife Jennifer, and their children, Holly, Kendall, Cody, Jesse, and James, Mark Jenkins and wife Pam, and their daughter Fallon (deceased) and son Jake, and Skylene Rethford and husband Jim, and their children Caitlen, Colton, Colby, and Conner. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.
Visitation is 1:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 S.W. 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Services are 2:00pm, Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Chapel at Resthaven. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
