Wanda Carlene Brewer

Wanda Carlene Brewer passed away on January 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 15, 1934 to Carl and Faye Maguffee in OKC. At age 5, Wanda met Kenneth, age 7. They were childhood friends who later married in 1951 and shared their life together for 64 years.
Wanda was an enthusiastic homemaker taking joy in creating a beautiful home and memories.
Some of her most cherished times was hosting friends and family on their boat, “Lady Carlene”, at Lake Texoma. Wanda also loved their travels to Norway, Hawaii, and all over the United States, but one of her favorite get-aways was Hot Springs, AR.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Kathy McCall and husband David; son, Kenny Brewer and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Alysa Powers and husband Courtney, Ryan McCall and Amy Abbott, Dustin Brewer and wife Stacy; great-grandchildren, Daxton and Brody Marschall, Nina Powers and Emily Johnston. Thank you to Integris Hospice, and special thanks to her personal caregivers, Lois, Lola and Ann.
Services will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Little Chapel of Roses at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26th from 1:00pm – 8:00pm. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
