Wade Creekmore

On June 19th, Wade Edward Creekmore, Jr. walked through the gates of Heaven. His parents, Wade Sr. and Maude were waiting to greet him. He has missed his brothers David and Jeff and his sister Carol. They are all finally together.
His heart is happy to hug his children again. He is picking up a baseball for that long-awaited game of catch with Wade III. His brothers and dad would have joined in too. Stacy and Carrie were sure to be there waiting at the gates to greet him with a smile. He has missed them all.
We know he is sad to leave his daughters, Nikki Rogers, and Kim Johnson. We are sure it gives him comfort to know we will hold down the fort until that day he greets us in Heaven. We will still enjoy Sundays on the back porch or listening to great music with laughter.
We will make sure his grandchildren Dylan Metheny, Malia Metheny, Cody Garza, Judah Dolph, Weston Johnson, Jason Knight and Tim Knight remember him. They will love and protect his 8 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Wade attended Capitol Hill High School. He was an outstanding football and baseball player for the Redskins. He then joined the Oklahoma City Fire Department. After retirement in 1977, he worked in the car business. He wouldn’t sell an unsafe car to anyone. The firefighter in him made sure of it.
Nikki asks if you want to remember her Dad, take a spin on the dance floor, eat a great steak at Cattleman’s, watch OU Football, or just give your family a big hug.
