Vickie Ann Riley

Vickie Ann Riley entered her Heavenly home on June 20, 2020. She was born July 6, 1941 in Oklahoma City to Alfred Warren Claxton and Oleta Ruth Claxton (Vandiver).

Vickie grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1959. She later married the love of her life, Don Riley, on a Christmas Eve day. They were blessed with a wonderful marriage prior to Don’s passing.

Vickie worked at various retail jobs through the years and was an excellent at painting and ceramics. Above all, Vickie loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandson, Brayden Whinery. Brayden was the light of her life and they loved each other dearly.

Vickie was preceded in passing by her parents, Alfred and Ruth Claxton; and husband, Don Riley.

Those left to continue her legacy include her son, Matthew Whinery and daughter-in-law, Victoria Whinery; sister, Linda Smith and brother-in-law, Stan Smith; brother, Rick Claxton; grandson, Brayden Whinery; and nieces, Kerri Smith and Heather Linker.
