Velma Reeves

Velma Dean Reeves of Choctaw, Ok peacefully left to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday morning December 29th 2021 at the age of 90 years. Having lost the Father of her children early and unexpectedly, Velma lived a life of servant caregiving for everyone in her Family. This untiring care for others was also evident in her beautiful flower gardens. She loved to travel and enjoyed numerous outdoor activities. Her husband B.H. Reeves; her sisters Ellarue Symes and Lorraine Day; and her children Kay Johnson and Billy Reeves preceded Velma in death. Velma is survived by her beloved children B.H. Reeves and Patricia Carr, in addition to several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.

   Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home in Oklahoma City on the 4th of January 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel on the 5th of January 2021 at 2:00 PM.
