Troyan D McCollum

Troyan D McCollum, 48 passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 after a two year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).  Troyan was born in Oklahoma City in 1971.  She loved sports and played soccer and golf.  She won many tournaments as a competitive golfer and worked in the golf business while attending school. This is where she met her husband Troy.  Troyan graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Communication Disorders.  She also received an education degree and master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma.  Troyan taught second and third grade at Epperly Heights Elementary school until her disease would no longer allow her to continue teaching.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, taking vacations with her family and spending time with her boys.
Troyan is survived by her husband Troy, sons Chance and Gage, mother Tonya Yarema, brother Keeton (Shelby) Tosh, aunt Terrye (Gene) Hallford, uncle Troy (Janet) Belcher, Jr. and cousin Trey (Deana) Belcher.  She is preceded by her grandmother Helen Belcher and grandfather Troy Belcher.
