Tammy L. (Whitlock) Smith, age 58, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Moore on October 13, 2017. She was born January 5, 1959 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Keith and Betty (Buchanan) Whitlock. She graduated from US Grant High School in 1977.

Her beautiful blue eyes, kindness, and generosity were just a few of the many qualities that drew everyone to her. In 1981, she married, and then gave birth to her son Brandon, who was the love and joy of her life. She loved animals of all kinds, but especially dogs. Tammy is survived by her son, Brandon Smith and wife Laura Sohl-Smith of Oklahoma City; sister Cei Ann Whitlock of Noble; and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Visitation will be held Monday from 1-8pm and Tuesday from 8am-8pm. Funeral services will be held 10am Wednesday, October 18 in the Chapel at Resthaven. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
