Stephen Craig Blanks

Stephen Craig Blanks passed from this life July 28, 2019 in Oklahoma City. He was born July 14, 1956 in Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey to George Jenkins Blanks and Ruth Blanks (Lee).
Steve attended Middle Township High School and went on to attend Trenton State College. He joined the United States Air Force in March of 1976 and proudly served for 20 years prior to his retirement in 1996. During his time in the Air Force, Steve went back to college where he earned an associate’s degree.
Steve loved all sports but had a strong passion for golf and football. He was an avid Tiger Woods fan and also enjoyed routing for his favorite NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles.  In addition, he had a profound interest and love for all children and touched the lives and hearts for so many throughout his life. Above all, Steve loved his family and never failed to show them that. He was kind and caring to every person he met  and will be missed forever by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, George and Ruth Blanks; son, London Razon De Vera; and brother, Lee Blanks.
Survivors include his loving wife, Alecia Blanks; sons, Steve Blanks, Jr., Rusty Blanks, and Chase De Vera; daughters, Stephanie Funk, and husband, Seth, and Bridgett De Vera; grandchildren, Maggie, A.J.,  Kitana; brothers, Bernie Blanks and wife Faye and George Blanks and wife Chris; and sisters, Bobbi Cottman and husband William and Brenda Tuckson and husband Wayne; Steve is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.
Visitation is 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday, August 3, 2019 and 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm during the visitation on Saturday.
