Simon Rey Granja

Simon Rey Granja of Oklahoma City passed away on the evening of June 13, 2022, at the age of 35. He was born on May 27, 1987, to Simon and Debra Granja. Rey spent his childhood living in Southside OKC and attended high school at Western Heights. Rey met his wife, Melissa and married on May 26, 2011. They were blessed with two children, Kimarah Rae and Dominik Trey. Rey was employed at Associated Wholesale Grocers for 13 years, where he found his work family and brothers. Rey had many loves in his life. He enjoyed cooking and grilling for family gatherings and loved spending time with all of his family and friends. He loved to fish. He loved art. He loved tattooing. Many family and friends display his amazing designs and beautiful ink throughout Oklahoma and other states. Rey enjoyed working out, playing pool, listening to rap music and watching UFC. Above all else, he loved his children. Rey was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Emilio Granja and Paul McFann. Rey is survived by his grandmothers, Flora Granja-Torres and Mary McFann; his parents, Simon and Debra Granja; his wife, Melissa Granja and their children, daughter Kimarah Granja and son, Dominik Granja; his sister, Pamela Granja; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
