She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Kuhlman. Parents, Christopher and Stella Danner. Sister, Bernice Danner. Sister Janette Rogers. Sister, Louise Rankins. Brother, Jerry Danner. Sister-in-law, Sue Sixkiller. Brother-in-law, Ron Kuhlman and wife Ruby.
Being the youngest of seven children, Shirley moved with her parents from town to town finally residing in Tecumseh, OK and graduating in 1969 from Tecumseh High School where she made friendships that would last a lifetime.
On september 24, 1976, she married that love of her life Sam Kuhlman. After marrying Sam, you could always find them side-by-side at Lake Eufala where they made countless memories and left a living legacy with friends and neighbors. When the water was warm and the lake was "glass," you'd find her behind the boat skiing like many had never seen. Shirley was an avid fisher, but mostly she used it as an excuse to read and tan. Attending all of Jason's functions was a must, from sport functions to academic accomplishments, she was there no matter the location. After her two granddaughters were born, her focused shifted to spoiling them instead of Jason. She had "the perfect grandma house," as Kinley and Tatum would say. Later in life, she enjoyed finding the best clearance deals, traveling the states with Sam, listening to audio books, and spending time with lifelong friends.
She will be missed by many, but she would have one thing to say to those that do - "I'm fine."
