Sharron Lutke sailed her final voyage into Heaven on July 25, 2020 after courageously battling cancer for 25 years. She was born April 30, 1949 in Monahans, Texas to Jack and Marilyn Cleek.
Sharron grew up traveling, as her father worked in the oil field. The family lived in different parts of Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma. She graduated from Enid High School and went on to work at Hobby Lobby. She later went on to work at the Oklahoma Tax Commission, and then pursued a career in the Trucking industry where she drove Long-Hauls. She then went back to the Oklahoma Tax Commission, ultimately retiring as an Oil and Gas Representative after more than 20 years of service.
Sharron’s ultimate joy was vacation cruises. She and her loving husband, Larry, sailed all around the Caribbean and enjoyed the most amazing adventures together. Sharron’s favorite cruise excursions included swimming with stingrays and dolphins. She was always up for an adventure and especially loved any excursion that included animals. She also adored and cherished her own fur-babies over the years and currently had three beloved cats that she was crazy about, Kit-Kat, Coco, and Bandit. Sharron and Larry also loved to pass time at the Artesian Hotel, Casino, and Spa in Sulphur, where Sharron especially enjoyed spending time in the hot tubs.
Sharron was preceded in passing by her parents, Jack Landon Cleek and Marilyn Cleek, and her loving fur-baby cats, Alley, Hairball, Dante, and Mannie.
Those left to continue her legacy include her loving husband of 14 years, Larry Lutke; step-daughter, Melissa Lutke; brother, Landon (Lanny) Cleek and wife, Jennifer; sister-in-law, Linda Kibler; and beloved fur-babies, Kit-Kat, Coco, and Bandit.
A celebration of life will take place at 2:00pm, Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Chapel at Resthaven, 500 S.W. 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
