After 70 years of a life well lived Sandra Kay Cook retired to her heavenly home. Sandra was born February 26, 1948 in Oklahoma City to Georgia and Ralph Storey. She was the eldest of four children and remained close to her siblings throughout her life. Sandra was blessed with three wonderful children whom she loved dearly. On June 20, 1986 Sandra married the love of her life, Chuck Cook. She and Chuck enjoyed 32 years as husband and wife and shared all aspects of their life with each other.
Sandra worked for years in the Grant High School nutrition program until her retirement. During retirement Sandra enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, attending craft shows and showering her toy poodle, Clyde Sweetie Pee, with love and puppy outfits. Though Sandra struggled for years with a sickness in her lungs she never let that stop her. She was always ready for a shopping day with the girls and her strong spirit never wavered.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Malinda Brown and Tammy Eyman, sister Susan Hart and stepson Stan Weber. Left to treasure her memory is her beloved husband Chuck Cook; son John Eyman and wife Chrishilla; stepson Darrell Cook; stepdaughters Tammy Marie Cook, Debra Rivas, and Donna Cook; sister Janey Davil and husband Michael; brother Michael Storey and wife Susan; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
