Rosalie Ann Pehl

Rosalie Ann (Viers) Pehl Age 89 of Oklahoma City, Ok passed away suddenly on Wed. Sep. 19, 2018. She was born to Earl C. Viers and Sarah L. (Beltz) Viers in Jet, OK on Aug 14, 1929. She lived on a farm all of her childhood. Upon graduation from Jet High School she moved to Austin, TX to live with her aunt and to find work. She worked at the Austin State School where she met and married her husband Edward, of 56 years. He proceeded her in death in 2006.
Rosalie had a sweet spirit who loved the Lord, and her family. She was a faithful member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church until her health would not allow. She lived a simple quiet life. You could always find her outside working in her yard and garden. Rosalie worked for a brief time at Western Electric and made many friends. Family was a big part of her life, getting together especially at holidays, her favorite one was Thanksgiving where she and dad made the best turkey and dressing.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tonia Kay Yarber and husband Rick and Sonja Fay Greenlee and husband Mike; three grandchildren Christina Beck, Jason Yarber and wife Brandy, Sarah Lons and husband Russell; great-grandchildren Tristin, Skye, Briannah, Braden and Nova; sister, Wilda Pekrul; nephew, Steven Pekrul and wife Cindy; niece, Judy Condron; and many other family and friends.
A special thanks to The Fountains of Canterbury Memory Care, staff and caregivers, who so lovingly took care of our Mother.
Family will greet friends for visitation Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1:00-3:00pm at Resthaven. Services to celebrate Rosalie's life will be 10:00am Monday in The Chapel at Resthaven.
