Robert E. Engles, Sr.

Robert Edward Engles, Sr. was born on August 5, 1932 in Oklahoma City, OK to Francis Middleton Engles and Rebecca Maud Engles (Dorland). He entered his Heavenly home on August 5, 2022, celebrating his most joyful birthday ever in the arms of the Lord.
Robert loved fishing, feeding the farm animals, and playing fetch with the dog, Riley. He would sit outside for hours at a time throwing the stick repeatedly, patiently waiting for Riley to bring it back, and even barking back and forth with her. Above all, Robert cherished his family and loved spending time with them.
He was a member of Antioch Christian Church for many years before transferring to Newcastle Christian Church.
Robert was preceded in passing by his parents, Francis and Rebecca Engles; grandson, Matthew Allan Hascall; son-in-law, Allan Hascall; brother, Forrest Engles; sisters, Clara Mae Edney, Louise Danielson and Betty Baker; and brother-in-laws, Harvey Dean Young, Grady Booth, and Raymond Baker.
Those left to continue his legacy include his children, Michelle Wilkerson and husband Dave of Midwest City, Robbie Engles and wife Alisha of Blanchard, and Rebecca Clyma and husband Chris of Moore; grandchildren, Staci Hascall of Newalla, Cody Clyma and wife Elisabeth of Dibble, Wesley Engles of Blanchard, Brady Clyma of Moore, and Trevor Engles of Blanchard; and sisters, Roberta Young and Lois Jean Booth. Robert is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.
Visitation is 6:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services are 10:00am, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Chapel at Resthaven. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
