He grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1963 where he lettered in wrestling. At Capital Hill he would meet the love of his life, Nancy Lewis, who he would marry in April 1966. Never one to stay idle, Robert spent the last seven years working with his dad, brother and sister running another family business, the RoadRunner RV Park.
Robert loved the Lord and he continued to show that until the end. He raised his family at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, where he and Nancy have been members for the past 35 years.
He was a long time car enthusiast and an active member of the GMC Motorhome Club. His other hobbies included golfing, going dancing with his wife, taking long walks, but most of all, spending time with his family & playing with his grandkids.
