Robert Dale Calton

Robert “Robby“ Dale Calton entered his Heavenly home March 15, 2023. He was born January 2, 1947 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Robert Lee Calton and Joyce Lajune Blevins (Calton).
Robby grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Southeast High School in 1965. He went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Central State College. Robby worked for H.J. Jeffries and later went to work at AK News. He met the love of his life, Kathleen Barnes, while working there and they married on February 20, 1979. Robby eventually pursued a career in Oil and Gas at the Oklahoma Tax Commission, where he ultimately retired after 30 years of service.
Robby was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He loved his family dearly and was a devout Christian. He read his bible daily and loved the Lord with all his heart. He will be missed forever by all who knew and loved him.
Robby was preceded in passing by his parents, Robert Lee and Joyce Lajune Calton.
Those left to continue his legacy include his loving wife, Kathleen Calton; daughter, Melody Elmore and husband Shane; son, Ladd Calton and wife Alyson; brother, Tommy Lee Calton; grandchildren, Taylor Elmore, Jorja Elmore, Tyler Elmore, Dakota Calton, Hunter Calton, and Conner Calton.
