Richard Nunley

Richard L. Nunley was called to his heavenly home on March 19, 2021. While he walked the earth, he was a patriarch, a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather as well as all around family man. He was a man of standup character and principle and he split his career between civil service in Aircraft Engine Maintenance at Tinker AFB and ownership of Nunley’s Appliance Service. Richard was born June 28, 1937, to Claude B. and Inez E. Nunley and was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his parents and his brother Larry Nunley.

Richard is survived by 2 daughters and 1 son: Debbie (Jim) Lennarson of OKC, Pam (Anthony) Spencer of MWC, and Rick (Melissa) Nunley of OKC: grandchildren: Anjie, Brandon (Candace), Jesse (Mandy), Reese, Hailey and Hayden: great-grandchildren: Brooke, Reagan, Cash, Briggs, Blakelie, Hannah, and Nora; and sisters, Janice (Chuck) Odell, and Claudia McDonald. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial following immediately at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
