Tribute

Ramona Joann Hiller entered her Heavenly home on June 7, 2022. She was born October 20, 1936 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Dan and Alice Johnson (Jones).

Ramona was born in Seminole but later moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma where she and her siblings grew up at the Masonic Children’s home. Ramona attended Guthrie High School and was the Band Queen. She graduated in 1955.

Ramona married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Hiller, in 1956 and they were blessed with 47 years of a wonderful marriage prior to Bob’s passing in 2003.

Ramona was an active member of Southern Hills Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was active in the Jubilee Choir and she cherished the relationships and church family she made over the years. In addition, she was a member of the Christian Women’s Association and was also an active volunteer at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and museum.

Ramona was preceded in passing by her parents, Dan and Alice Johnson; son, Jerry Hiller; sisters, Betty Lou Johnson and Frances Clark; and nephew, Robert Johnson.

Those left to continue her legacy include her son, Kenneth Hiller and wife Terri; brother, Bill Johnson; sister, Mary Sue Johnson-Carney and husband Ed; grandchildren, Kaci and Jordan; and nieces, Carri Baldwin and Sheila Spain. Ramona is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.

Visitation is 3:00pm-8:00pm, Friday, June 10, 2022 at Resthaven Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Services are 11:00am, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Southern Hills Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
