Phyllis DePatie

On Monday May 24, 2021, Phyllis DePatie, loving wife to John for 53 years, mother to Barbara and Deborah, Grandmother to Drew, Grace, Anna, and Michael, and friend to many passed away at Iris Memory Care in Edmond, OK at the age of 81.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, her daughter Deborah, her four grandchildren and her sister-in-law Mary. She was predeceased by her parents Adolf and Pansy, her brothers Adolph Jr and Dennis, her sister Margaret, and her eldest daughter Barbara.
Phyllis enjoyed volunteering at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Time Out group, in Adoration, as a Eucharistic Minister and more. She was also an incredibly talented painter. She joyfully adorned the walls of her family’s homes with beautiful paintings. She very much enjoyed the ladies and gentlemen at Mrs. Littlechild’s group painting classes at the Edmond Hobby Lobby. Phyllis was also dedicated seamstress. She was always eager to help friends and family with sewing projects for everything from home décor to wedding dresses.
The funeral will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 900 S Littler Edmond Ok at 11:00 am Friday June 4, 2021. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in honor of Phyllis DePatie to the Catholic Charities or the Alzheimer Association of Oklahoma.
