Phillip Horne

Phillip Sherwood Horne, age 73, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away, Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
He was born on August 19, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to Vernon and Bobbie Horne.

Phil married Iris Horne on November 21, 1969. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1966 to 1971. He was employed with Lee Way Motor Freight for 15 years and later became a Federal Civilian Servant through his employment with the United States Air Force. Phil retired on December 31, 2012 after 26 years of service at Tinker Air Force Base.

He is survived by his wife, Iris Horne of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters: Candy Redden and husband Oran of Moore, OK and Heather Cowell and husband Scotty of Edmond, OK; his sister, P.J. Cogburn and husband Curtis of Coppell, TX; and grandchildren: Ashley Snell of Oklahoma City, OK, Tony Militar of Oklahoma City, OK, Bridget Cox and husband Jakob of Oklahoma City, OK, Sterling Tinker and husband Michael of Choctaw, OK, and Reegan Crews of Oklahoma City, OK;and great grandchildren: Camrey, Eden, Micaiah, Jackson, Ezekiel and Donovan; Aunt: Barbara Mabery of Southlake, TX; cousins: Michael Mabery and wife Katie of Makawao, HI, and Gaye Kallas and husband Greg of Southlake, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
