Pauline Placker

Pauline Alba Placker passed from this life July 2, 2019 at the age of 100. She was born November 11, 1918 in Wynnewood, OK to Sam and Bertie Dunn. She grew up in the area with her brothers Terrell and Clinton Dunn. Pauline had a true passion for her career and served as a Practical Nurse in Oklahoma City for 20 years.
Pauline married Jack Placker in 1935. From this marriage, they created a legacy that will continue forever, with six children, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
Pauline’s ultimate love was for her family and she enjoyed spending time with them. In addition, she had a passion for cooking and sewing.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Sam and Bertie Dunn; husband, Jack Placker; and daughter, Jacqueline Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Fay Snow, Norma Wall, Janis Williams, Robin Placker; son, Paul Placker; and brother, Terrell Dunn. Pauline is also survived by a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation for Pauline is 3:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104 St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Services are 10:00am, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at The Chapel at Resthaven. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
