Patsy J Smith

Patsy J. Smith (née Sanders), of Moore, OK, passed Wednesday morning in her sleep at Hospice Quality Care in Midwest City. She was born in Sherman, TX, the oldest daughter of Porter Sanders and Ema Lee (née Scherrer) Sanders.

“Pat”, as many knew her, worked in clerical and retail, but was at her best raising her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her church and bowling friends as much as she could in the past several years.   

Survived by her three sons: Porter Smith of Moore, OK, Keith Holder of OKC, and Curtis Holder and wife Nhu of Peoria, AZ; 11 grandchildren: Jennifer, David, Kirby, Chris G, Keidra, Nicole, Cameron, Kayleigh, Ryan, Sarah, and Andrew; 8 great-grandchildren; and  niece, Riki Snyder of Edmond, OK.  Predeceased by Herschel, her husband of 58 years; daughter, Kelly; and sister, Dorothy.

A memorial graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Patsy J. Smith will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 25, 2018, at Resthaven Memory Gardens, with Pastor Bryan Gilbert officiating.
