Pamela Sue Hoegger
November 3, 1952 ~ January 31, 2024 (age 71) 71 Years Old
Pamela Sue (Mathis) Hoegger left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on January 31st 2024. She was born in Oklahoma City to Leroy and Faye Mathis. She met Rick Hoegger when she was in 8th grade and they married right after high school. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1971. She and Rick bought their forever home together in 1979. She worked for Southwest Dental Associates from age 15 to when she retired at 56.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, father and loving husband of 49 years. She lived for her family, son Jeremy Hoegger (wife Bridgett), daughter Hillary Henley (husband Jeremy) and grandchildren, Taylor Honeysuckle (husband Shelby), Mckenzie Hoegger, Kennedy Hoegger (Melvin Childs), Judah Henley, Silas Henley and Lydia Henley and great grandchildren Hazel Love and Ivy Childs, and another baby girl on the way. She had to see her grands at least once a week and talk to her kids regularly. She adored her family and would do absolutely anything for them. Her most recent passion was cooking for her family. If she wasn't cooking, then she was either at Walmart or cleaning. She loved the sun, sitting on her back porch on a pretty day and trips to the beach. On the weekends you would find her at any gym or auditorium her grandkids were playing or performing in. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She would give them the world. Everyone came before her. She was a devout Republican and spoke her mind about all things. She was spunky and sassy, but also so very loving and caring and sweet. She was one of a kind. She was a very content person, not materialistic at all and didn't desire the nicer things in life, although she was not tight and would spend money easily! She grew up protestant but converted to Catholicism after marrying Rick. They attended Sacred Heart Catholic church for over 45 years but in her later years just watched Joel Osteen on TV on Sunday mornings and regularly listened to contemporary Christian music at home and in her car.
She missed her husband deeply after his passing. She had chronic pain but was tough as a boot. She often said she had lived such a good life and was ready to meet her maker. While she will be sorely missed her family is happy God answered her prayer to join her other loved ones and spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven.
