Norma Williams entered her Heavenly home on April 2, 2020 in Oklahoma City. She was born May 10, 1937 in Oklahoma City to Cecil and Octavia Brooks (Roberts). Norma married the love of her life, Donald Ray Williams, on August 19, 1955. She worked as a Realtor for many years and she worked all the up until her passing. As a young adult, Norma worked at Ford Motor Company in the computing department and later at Lear Jet in Crash Investigation and was a trained Paralegal. Norma was an active member of First Baptist Church in Moore, Oklahoma. She loved the Lord and instilled the depth of her faith in her children and grandchildren – a legacy that offers the great comfort now. She loved her family sacrificially, and in recent years, selflessly took care of Don in the nursing home. Gathering together with family was one of her greatest joys. She was highly creative and enjoyed all of the arts. Outside of work, her favorite hobbies included travel, decorating, painting, sewing, and she created a beautiful home for her family with all of her projects. In her younger years, she sang and performed in a community theater. Norma loved all animals, especially Scottish Terriers, including Sammy, who was her close companion in recent years. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Cecil and Octavia Brooks, and sister, Sarah Jo Brooks. Those left to continue her legacy include her loving husband, Donald Ray Williams; and children, Kelly Burris, Gregory Williams, and Derek Williams, and David Williams. Norma is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashten Burris, Payton Burris, Ethan Williams, Evan Williams, Logan Williams, and Connor Williams and many loving extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date for friends and family to attend. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKc.com.
