Michael R Delashaw

On September 11, 2018, Michael “Mike” R. Delashaw, loving husband, father, brother, grand-father and great grand-father was united with his Heavenly Father. Mike was born on January 12, 1942 in Electra, Texas. He was raised in Midwest City and went on to graduate in 1960 from Midwest City High School and then he graduated from Central State College in 1971. He married Donnell Braden on September 3, 1971. He worked and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after 42 years. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Mickey and Penny Delashaw. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donnell; son Curtis of Oklahoma City, daughter Jennifer Robinson and her husband Derrick of Mustang; four granddaughters, Amelia Delashaw, Claire Delashaw, Sophia Robinson and Simone Robinson, and grandson Peyton Robinson; great – granddaughter Eleanor; one brother Marshall Delashaw of Moore; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Mike was a man with the best sense of humor. He loved golf, OSU and his family. He has left us with the most amazing memories that will bring love and laughter to our lives forever. Mike’s final tee time will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 14, 2018 in The Chapel at Resthaven. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
