Welcome to the memorial page for

Max Michael "Mike" Caddell

April 20, 1950 ~ February 15, 2018 (age 67) 67 Years Old
Son,  Schweetie,  Dad,  Gdaddy.
Max Michael Caddell flew his powered parachute into heaven on February 15th, 2018 at the age of 67-years, 9-months and 26 days.  We can only imagine how sweet his reunion was with his mom and little sister.

Mike was born on April 20th, 1950 in Lubbock, Texas to Max N. and Mary Frances Caddell.  His early childhood was spent in Colorado City, Texas.  The family later settled in Lawton, Oklahoma where Mike graduated from Lawton Eisenhower High School in 1968.
After graduation, Mike attended Oklahoma State University.  He was a proud member of the skydiving team making hundreds of jumps with his teammates.  The highlight of his skydiving days was jumping with the Golden Eagles. His love for the open skies never ended. In the past 20-years he loved to fly his powered parachutes and train sport pilots through his company, Paraspace Aviation.

In June of 1971, he married Barbara Mahoney in Lawton, Oklahoma.  They made their home in Dublin, California.  In 1973 they returned to Oklahoma, settling in Enid.  To this union, 3 children were born, two mediocre sons, Casey and Corey, and one incredible daughter, Meredith.
On February 20th 1998, Mike was united in marriage with Deborah Kitty Ernst.  She brought to this union a very special little boy named Josh.  We all quickly fell in love with Deb and Josh.  They completed our family.

Mike spent 40 plus years of his life driving a semi.  From Caddell Transit, to M.N. Caddell Trucking, CFI, Air Liquide, and Farmers Oil – he enjoyed his years on the road.  But nothing quite compared to how much he valued being at home with his loved ones. And by loved ones, we mainly mean his dogs. ?? Mike had finally landed his dream job, training drivers and heavy equipment operators at Autry Technology Center in Enid before he passed.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah, father, Max N. Caddell, his children, Casey and wife Nicole and their children Hudson Max, Kennedy Jo, and Jennings Kay; Meredith and husband Cody and their children Colton, Hayden Brooke, Cooper Jeffrey, and Charlee Katherine; Corey and wife Crystal and their children Jackson, Rowdy, Trey, Brooks, and Jazzy; and his youngest son, Josh.  He is also survived a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances, and his sister, Chris.
The family cannot say thank you enough for the outpouring of love shown for us during these difficult days.

Viewing will be held 12-8pm Monday, February 19th at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 SW 104th Street, Oklahoma City.

Celebration of life will be Friday, February 23st at 2pm at Willow View United Methodist Church, Enid.
