Mary Russell

Mary Aileene Russell (known as Aileene), 97, of Moore, Oklahoma died December 4th 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born August 25th, 1925 to Rufus Edward Vineyard and Mary Elizabeth Goodwin Vineyard in Berwyn, Oklahoma. Aileene was one of 6, and was the last surviving sibling. She married Louis Alton Cole in 1942. They had 4 children and were married until he passed away in 1973. She married Joe Russell who brought in one child to the marriage in 1983. She was married to Joe until he passed away in 2008.

Aileene spent many years working at the First Methodist Daycare in Moore, Oklahoma. She loved to dance, go to the casino, collect dolls, and spend time with her family and friends. She also loved to listen to Charlie Pride who she met in an elevator while she was in Las Vegas.

Aileene is preceded in death by her siblings, parents, husbands, her son-in-law Bruce King, and 4 grandkids.
Her surviving family members are Jeannie King, Edwin Cole, Jack Cole and his wife Rhonda, Belinda Dixon and her husband David Dixon, Step-Son Tom Russell and his wife Audrey, and many nieces, nephews, and grandkids.

The Services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home with Visiting Services on 12/7/2022 from 4pm to 8pm and Funeral Services on 12/8/2022 at 2pm.

Pallbearers will be her sons Edwin and Jack, her grandkids Tanner Dixon, Che Cole, and Jason Cole, and her son-in-law David Dixon.

Aileene was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.
She will be very missed by all who knew her.
