After 87 years of a life well lived, Mary Jo Albee passed from this life October 13, 2017. She was born January 4, 1930 in Oklahoma City to William L. and Mabel (Salathiel) Bridwell. She married the love of her life, Robert E. Albee, Sr. in November 1946. During her life, Mary enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, and watching OU sports. She also loved to travel with her family to Lake Eufaula and went on many cruises with her husband before his death in 1998.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Robert E. Albee, Sr; son, Robert E. Albee, Jr; sisters, Juanita Tiefel, Willa Albee, and Lee LePley; and brothers, William L. Bridwell, Jr. and Charles Bridwell.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: children, Rodney Albee and wife Beverly, Melinda Ozment, Bill Albee and wife Brenda, and David Albee; 6 grandchildren: Brooke Smith and husband Greg, Aaron Ozment, Ryan Albee and wife Jami, Melia Campbell and husband Adam, Amanda Albee Chandrasekhar and husband Sharat, and William Brandon Albee; 7 great grandchildren: Preston and Parker Albee, Addison and Cooper Smith, Harper Campbell, Alma Chandrasekhar, and Vincent Ozment; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Grace Living Center-Brookwood and Good Shepherd Hospice for their loving care of our mom.

Visitation will be held 1-8pm Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home. A celebration of Mary's life will be held 10am Tuesday in the Chapel at Resthaven.
