Mark Romero
Born 9/28/70 and passed from this life October 4, 2020. Mark was originally from Denver, Colorado and spent the majority of his life in Colorado, but traveled to many states when he was younger. He is survived by his bothers Michael Romero, Richard Romero, his parents Bob and Debbie Seymour, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He lived in Black Hawk Colorado for six years before moving to Lawton OK in May, 2020. Mark was a carpenter. He worked at many trades over the years – face painting, stilt walker, cook, handyman, commercial construction, welder etc. He enjoyed and looked forward to working fireworks shows with his step dad every year. He loved creating things with his hands. He was also an artist and tried to find beauty in everything around him.
Mark loved the mountains of Colorado and his animals. He was happiest when he was living and working in that environment. His two dogs, Rora and Zeus, were never far from his side. Where you found him, you would find them. Whether it was on job sites (when remodeling homes), walking the hills and valleys of the mountains he loved, or camping.
He was a Free Spirit and the one thing that everyone said about him over his lifetime was how nice and sweet he was. He loved to laugh and be with his friends and family and enjoy life.
He will be inurned in Denver between his grandparents at a later date.
