Maria L. Lopez

María Luisa López entro a su morada celestial rodeada de familia el 16 de septiembre de 2021 a la edad de 55 años.
Nació el 21 de marzo de 1966, hija de Cirenia Mendoza Herrera.


María se casó con el amor de su vida, Jacinto López, el 7 junio y fueron bendecidos con 33 años de matrimonio y también con cuatro hijos increíbles. María fue el ejemplo perfecto de una verdadera sierva de Dios. Incluso frente al peligro, María siempre creyó en la justicia y en hacer lo correcto, abogando por los necesitados. Ella era muy activa en su comunidad y ofrecía de su tiempo, sus conocimientos y ayuda en cualquier situación que hubiese una necesidad en una manera voluntariamente. Todos conocían la pasión de María para servir a los demás y también de su fe inquebrantable en el Señor.


María disfrutaba de las artes y las manualidades de todo tipo, pero especialmente le encantaba pintar y dibujar. También le encantaba cuidar su jardín. Sobre todo, María dedicó su vida para su familia. Le encantaba hacerles sonreír, específicamente gastándoles bromas. Recibía visitas a su casa de todo corazón. Aunque le encantaba hacer reír a la gente, le parecía aún más importante que todos se sintieran amados. No solo fue una madre asombrosa para sus propios hijos, sino también para todos los demás. Daba la bienvenida a su casa a las amistades de sus hijos y a cualquier otra persona con brazos plenamente abiertos, haciendo todo lo posible para que se sintieran cómodos y como en su propia casa. A pesar de sus dificultades, todavía encontró la manera de hacer sonreír a los demás. Ella inspiró y motivó a otros en una manera cotidiana. Toda su vida María fue una luchadora valiente y fuerte.


Le precedieron en muerte su madre, Cirenia Mendoza Herrera; y un hermano, Andrés Campuzano.


Los que quedaron para continuar con su legado incluyen a su amado esposo de 33 años, Jacinto López; sus 4 hijos, Garrick Lopez y Jessica, Sirenia Melissa Lopez, Fritzi Lopez y Miguel Torres, y Fletcher Lopez y William James Hallenbeck; nietos, Cataleya G. Lopez y Arya Luna Torres; y sus hermanos Xavier Campuzano, Vicente Campuzano, Eusebio Campuzano y Lorenzo Campuzano. También le sobrevive un hijo de extra, Carlos Vásquez, así como una gran cantidad de familiares y amigos cercanos que la extrañarán mucho.






Maria Luisa Lopez entered her Heavenly home surrounded by family on September 16, 2021 at the age of 55.
She was born March 21, 1966, the daughter of Cirenia Mendoza Herrera.
Maria married the love of her life, Jacinto Lopez, on June 7th. From this marriage, they were blessed with 33 years together and four amazing children. Maria was the perfect example of a true servant of God. Even in the face of danger, Maria always believed in justice and doing what was right, advocating for those in need. She was very active in her community and would volunteer her time, knowledge, and helping hands anywhere she saw a need. Maria’s passion to serve others and her unwavering faith in the Lord will be remembered by all who knew her.
Maria enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds, but especially loved painting and drawing. She also loved working in her garden. Above all, Maria dedicated her life to her family and loved making them smile, specifically by playing pranks on them. She was an entertainer and heart and although she loved to make people laugh, she found it even more important to make everyone feel loved. She was not only the most amazing mother to her own children, but to everyone else as well. She welcomed her children’s friends and anyone else into her home with open arms, doing her best to make them feel comfortable and at-home. Despite her complications, she still found a way to make others smile. She inspired and motivated others daily. Maria was a fearless, strong, lifelong fighter.
She was preceded in passing by her mother, Cirenia Mendoza Herrera; and a brother, Andres Campuzano.
Those left to continue her legacy include her loving husband of 33 years, Jacinto Lopez; children, Garrick Lopez and Jessica, Sirenia Melissa Lopez, Fritzi Lopez and Miguel Torres, and Fletcher Lopez and William James Hallenbeck; grandchildren, Cataleya G. Lopez and Arya Luna Torres; and brothers, Xavier Campuzano, Vicente Campuzano, Eusebio Campuzano, and Lorenzo Campuzano. She is also survived by a bonus son, Carlos Vasquez, as well as a host of loving extended family and friends who will all miss her dearly.
Visitation for Maria is 2:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services to honor Maria’s life are 2:00pm, Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Chapel at Resthaven. Condolences may be shared at www.RestahavenOKC.com.
