Luis Rodriguez, Jr. left his earthly home far too soon on May 18, 2017. He was born January 24, 1995 in Oklahoma City to Luis Sr. and Patricia Rodriguez. Luis graduated from Moore High School in 2013 and went on to join the United States Army. He became an HR Specialist in the Army Reserve assigned to 2/379th Training Support Company in Ft. Sill, OK, and was also employed as a premise technician with AT&T.

Luis loved the OKC Thunder, playing NBA2K on his PlayStation, fast cars, cooking, and music. However, spending time with his family, and friends who became family, was always the most important to him. Whether it was taking an exciting vacation or simply just being together, Luis loved his family deeply. His adventurous spirit and ability to make anyone laugh will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Geronimo Rodriguez.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: parents, Luis and Patricia Rodriguez; fiancée, Alyssa Tapia; daughter, Naomi Jayde Rodriguez; sister, Cecily Rodriguez and boyfriend Ryan Cox; grandparents, Jesus and Angelita Rodriguez, and Michael and Kathleen Konieczki; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved dogs, Bear and Fiona.

Visitation will be held 5-8pm Wednesday, and 8am-8pm Thursday. A ceremony to celebrate Luis’s life will be held 2pm Friday, May 26 in the Chapel at Resthaven.
