Lourdes Macias Borja passed from this life at her home in Moore, Oklahoma on November 25, 2017. She was born on November 16, 1959 in Acapulco, Mexico to Alfonso and Josefina (Jimenez) Borja.

Lourdes taught Spanish at Capitol Hill High School for the past twenty years. Aside from her love of teaching, she also enjoyed cooking, keeping an active role within her community, and going salsa dancing with her husband, Jaime.

Lourdes leaves behind to cherish her memory: beloved husband, Jaime Macias; son, Andres Charry; daughter, Paula Charry; brothers: Sergio Borja and Angel Borja; sisters: Laura Borja, Angeles Borja, Maria Elena Medina, Martha Borja, and Cecilia Espinoza.


Funeral ceremony for Lourdes Macias Borja will be held 10am Saturday, December 2 in the Chapel at Resthaven.
