Loretta Cantwell

Loretta Dean Davis Cantwell was born in Ada, OK July 25, 1927 to Early J. and Lottie Davis. She passed from this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on September 15, 2018 at 91 years, 1 month, and 21 days old.

Loretta married her best friend “Pete” T.L. Cantwell December 21, 1947. They had two daughters, Sherre and Sandy. Her interests and hobbies were many and varied. As a strong, Christian woman, she taught Sunday school for many years. She loved to watch and feed hummingbirds. She was a fabulous fisherwoman, catching many tagged fish and many fish large enough to preserve. She loved to garden and was a wonderful cook! She will be missed by so many.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Sherre Whittington and husband Jim of Eufaula, OK and Sandra Rodgers of College Station, TX; grandchildren, Kimberly Rodgers of Portland, Maine, Tracey Jones, Rick Whittington; and many great grandchildren.
