Lonnie R Haraway

Lonnie R. Haraway, age 89, passed away on April 30, 2018.  He was born in Rogersville, Alabama to Maudie Lee and Parker Newton Haraway.  He met his wife at KHOU-TV, A CBS affiliate in Galveston, Texas, where they worked for several years.  They later moved to Houston, Texas where he was employed by NASA. He then accepted a position at the FAA in Oklahoma City where he retired in 1990.   He enjoyed flying small airplanes and anything aviation related with a special interest in the B29 aircraft that he worked on while serving in the Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Annabelle Haraway. He is survived by one daughter, Julie Webb and husband Kent; two granddaughters, Alicia Webb Milum and husband Chris, Brittany Wood and husband Donald; three great grandchildren, Harrison and Lucas Milum and Audrey Wood.
