Linda Gail (Roberson, Zumwalt) Ramsey passed away September 3, 2017. She was born to Weldon and Era Roberson in Quanah, TX on November 17, 1940. She worked at the Oklahoma City Police Department from 1962-1969. She then went to work at Nichols Hills Police Department from 1969-1981. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base from 1982-2003, and retired after 21 years of service. Above all, she loved family very much. She always said her family comes first.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Darrell L. Zumwalt; husband, Eugene Ramsey; granddaughter, Lindsey Terry; 2 great grandsons, Dylan Terry and John Brown-Jones II.
She is survived by daughter, Cheryl Zumwalt; sister, Ann Dumas; brother, Jim Roberson; grandchildren: Lacy Paylor and husband Cody, Robert, Roger, and Tina Zumwalt; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 11am-8pm Thursday. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held 10am Friday in the Chapel at Resthaven, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
