Leona Jane Atkins

Leona Jane Atkins passed from this life on Mother’s Day, May 13, 2018. She was born January 23, 1922 in Mustang, OK to Chester and Mary Hubbard.

During her life, Jane enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, and making dolls and sock monkeys for her grandchildren. She was an incredible mother who was happiest when she was making things for the people she loved. She was also a long time member of Mustang Heights Baptist Church.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Cecil Atkins; and siblings: Anna Mae Smith, Frances Brandt, Richard Hubbard, and Willis Hubbard.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children: Cecilia Ballard and husband James, Russell Atkins and wife Kathy, Robert Atkins, and Joy Alexander and husband Barry; grandchildren: Candace Mitchell, Roxanne Fitzgerald, Robert Atkins, Jr., Stephen Atkins, Stephanie Tucker, Curtis Alexander, Casey Alexander, Caleb Alexander, and Corban Alexander; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
