Lee was born in Prague, Oklahoma, on October 3, 1930. She was the daughter of Joseph and Blanche Sestak. As an infant, Lee moved with her parents to Comstock, Nebraska, where they lived and farmed for ten years before moving to Oklahoma City with her two sisters and brother. They were married on November 10, 1949 and made their home in Oklahoma City where they started their family. After their 3 children were grown, she began working for the Oklahoma City Public Schools as a school secretary, retiring from Lee Elementary. In 2014 after 65 years of marriage, Charley preceded her in death She was an active member of Draper Park Christian Church until her health no longer allowed her to be involved. Lee enjoyed working in her flower garden, sewing, playing Skipbo, as well as baking, cooking, entertaining, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her servant’s heart was evident with the kindness she showed to anyone that had a need.
