Larry Eugene Keas, 75 of Yukon, Oklahoma died in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 22, 2022. He was born at Saint Anthony Hospital on March 1, 1947, to parents James Leo Keas and Bettie Louise (Moody) Keas. Larry graduated from Northwest Classen, from there he attend Cameron University. Larry married the love of his life, Janie Margo Ping on August 19, 1966 in Oklahoma City, at First Assembly of God. Larry and Janie had one son, his favorite child, Michael Stacey Keas. Larry worked as a sheet metal worker for 37 years at Sheet Metal Service Company, upon retiring in 2005 as President of the company. Larry was an avid song writer and loved to sing gospel music at his church. He also enjoyed watching horse racing and was a truly dedicated fan of his beloved Oklahoma Sooners. He cherished conversations with those he would call friends and family. Larry loved to joke around and had a way of making others laugh!
Larry “Pops” is survived by his favorite son Michael Stacey Keas, and his wife sweet Melissa Keas, his favorite grandson Jared Andrew Keas aka “Jeremiah” and his wife Victoria Marie Morrison Keas, his favorite granddaughter Jordan Alexis Keas. Larry is proceeded in death by his parents James Leo Keas, Bettie Louise Bradford, his soul mate and wife Janie Margo Keas, and Janice Ollenburger Keas. Larry’s service will be officiated by Mason Polk at Resthaven Funeral home on Friday, September 30th at 2 pm. He will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
