Kristi Lynn Wall passed from this life Monday, February 17, 2020 at the age of 50 after a long and brave battle with a rare form of cancer. She was born July 5, 1969 in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Jim and Ella Rowell, Larnce Deaton, Louise and Frank Foster, and Joe and Faye Wall.
She is survived by her parents, Vicki and Jerry Hammonds; daughter, Alexiss Turner and husband Jamal; son, Braydon Johnson; partner, Danny Johnson; brother, Ryan Wall and wife Jennifer; sisters, Kelly Caskey and husband Steven, and Holly King and husband Wilson; grandchildren, Ayden, Tate, and RaeLynn; nieces and nephews, Shayla, Lyric, Leslie Ann, Julian, and Jax.
Kristi graduated high school in 1988 and went on to attend the University of Central Oklahoma where she graduated in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She went on to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher and taught in both Moore, Oklahoma and Fort Worth, Texas. Kristi loved teaching and adored her students.
Kristi was devoted to her children and her life was centered around her family. She loved to watch her son play football at OSU and she cherished her grandchildren.
Kristi was the most kind-hearted person and will be missed forever by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy will continue through the numerous lives she touched.
Services to honor Kristi’s life are 2:00pm, Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Chapel at Resthaven.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Condolences may be shared at www.ResthavenOKC.com.
