Keith Teasley

Keith Teasley, 85, died Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Moore, Oklahoma; a brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will truly be missed. He was born April 4, 1932 in Urich, Missouri to Herbert Teasley and Eunice Teasley. Keith is survived by son William Teasley; daughter Diana Quinton & husband Keith; and daughter-in-law Renee Teasley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Barbara Teasley; and son Paul Teasley. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, John Teasley and wife Rachel, Christopher Quinton, Ginger Holdredge & husband Benjamin, and Alexander Quinton. He has 5 great grandchildren, Anders Holdredge, Sebastian Quinton, Phillip Teasley, Daniel Teasley, and Soren Holdredge. He is also survived by sisters, Jennie January, Carolyn Thurber, Merle Thompson, and brother, Wayne Teasley. He was preceded in death by brother, Bill Teasley.

Keith grew up in Moore, Oklahoma where he graduated from Moore High School. After some time in the Navy, he taught Aviation Mechanics at Oklahoma State University while attending classes for his degree before taking a job at the FAA. Just prior to his retirement he oversaw much of the FAA’s work in Europe, the Middle East, and Northern Africa while living in Brussels, Belgium. Keith and Barbara returned to Oklahoma City when he retired. He loved clocks and machinery, gardening, and anything aviation. He was known for his quick smile and great stories.

A memorial service for Keith will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Resthaven
